The premium symbols offer payouts ranging from 20x (for any combination of fish symbols) to 200x (for five monster truck symbols) for a five-of-a-kind win. The base game doesn't include any wild symbols, but they appear in the bonus round to collect fish prizes and substitute for regular paying symbols to help create winning combinations. The wild symbols themselves are also collected.
To trigger the Bonus Round, you need to land 3, 4, or 5 scatter symbols anywhere on the reels in a single spin. Landing only 2 scatters can activate an extra chance feature. In this case, the two scatters will move down one step on their respective reels, if possible, while the other reels respin. This process continues until one of the scatters falls off the bottom, which may help trigger the bonus round. Additionally, you may encounter a hook that pulls up the third scatter on one of the reels.
Before the bonus round begins, you'll witness a group of fish swimming in a circle below the reels. A lasso is thrown from above to catch them, and this can award between 0 and 5 extras from the modifier/feature menu displayed on the left. The pre-feature ends when the lasso catches an anchor instead of a fish. Here's an overview of what you can receive:
- Extra fish symbols: Adds more fish symbols to the reel strips in the bonus round.
- Extra fisherman symbols: Increases the number of fisherman wild symbols on the reel strips.
- Extra dynamites, hooks, and bazookas: Enhances the chances of triggering these modifiers.
- Start from level 2: Begins the bonus round at retrigger level 2 on the progressive wild collect meter.
- +2 extra spins: Starts the bonus round with 2 additional free spins, and +2 is also added to the respective retrigger free spin counts.
The fisherman wild symbol can appear on any reel during the bonus round, and you need it to collect all the fish prizes in view. The fisherman wild symbol is then collected in the meter above the grid, and every 4 collected symbols retrigger the bonus round, providing an additional 10 or 12 spins. It also awards a cash fish prize multiplier of x2, x3, and x10, respectively, as obtaining 3 retriggers/upgrades is the maximum.
During the bonus round, there are 3 random modifiers that can trigger. If you land the fisherman wild symbol without any fish symbols, you may receive fish from the dynamite or bazooka modifiers. If there are fish symbols present but no fisherman wild symbol, a hook may pull up the fisherman wild from one of the reels. Please note that the Bonus Buy feature, which costs 100 times your stake, is not available in the UK.
